To serve the citizens of the rural community and to do so by safeguarding their lives against the effects of fire, explosions, medical emergencies or exposure to other dangerous conditions.

To safeguard the general welfare of the community by preventing major fires and the destruction by fire of industries and businesses.

To establish a well run, efficient, responsive fire and medical service based on the unwavering commitment and extensive training of volunteers from the community which they are serving.
